Child Safety System - Product OverviewHomeguard have designed a barrier specifically to protect children under the age of five from falling from windows. The barrier is fitted internally, across the front of a window or to the reveals, and is very simple to fit. It is made from steel and finished with a very high quality maintenance free powder coating finish in a choice of colours. This is a brand new product, and is the only one of its kind available in the UK. Research was conducted with various organisations such as the Department of Trade and Industry, Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) and other professional bodies who specialise in child safety; and as a result Homeguard have produced a safety barrier that not only complies with present regulations – but also brings peace of mind. The barrier Homeguard designed followed the recommended solutions contained within the Part K2 of the Building Regulations 2000.
